The Riva

A poem by Ruby

Oh, you must see the Riva,
Off away in Split,
It is grand and not covered
With dusty sand,
Smooth limestone floors it well,
'Tis by the ocean and the sea,
The waves lap against the shore,
But when I love the Riva most
Is when the sea gulls soar.

Your poem and picture together
Show the Riva's good mood and good weather!
I wish I were there,
Again, with no care,
With Ruby, Celeste, Rhabyt, Heather!

Love,
Auntie Natasha
